Most frequent questions and answers to the Kidzphyz Sports Camp programs
There are two ways you can register:
- Select the ‘Register Now’ tab on the specific sports camp page of the website you wish to attend. You should receive a pop up registration tab for you to complete. Once you have entered your details and that of your child/ren who are attending the sports camps, select the required dates so you can securely process your enrolment and payment. This will be followed shortly by email confirmation.
- Call or email Kidzphyz Sports directly to secure you spot in our sport camp. Once approved, we will send you the registration form. Please ensure you bring them to the camp. If you register online, we will send you a tax invoice as confirmation of your enrolment.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 24-48 hours of registering your child for the sports camp. You will also receive a detailed receipt and a registration pack that has all of the camp information such as what to bring, lunch order forms, directions/maps and check-in/check out times. If you do not receive the camp information pack, please email us at – firstname.lastname@example.org and don’t forget to check your junk email folder!
You can pay online vai our secure payment gateway after registration.You can also pay over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard. If you do not want to use a credit card, please contact us and we will be happy to sign you up over the phone and support you with providing payment via direct deposit. These details can also be found on your Kidzphyz Sports Invoice.
Three-day camp programs including 18+ hours of coaching are $255 per participant.
If your child can’t attend three days of the camp, we do allow participants to attend for one of two days, however we do recommend your child attend the full program where possible. 1 and 2 day camps are priced as follows:
– 3 day camp = $255.00
– 2 day camp = $185.00
– 1 day camp = $90.00
*Note – 1 or 2 day camps are only available after approval of the Kidzphyz Sports Director and are subject to availability.
Individual discounts are available under the following terms:
– Super Special (48 hour discount) = $200.00 ($55 off). Only available at the immediate completion of a camp and for a maximum of 48 hours.
– ‘Early Bird’ discount = $220.00 ($35.00 off). Available between 2 – 3 weeks after a camp for a maximum of 2 weeks.
– Sibling = $230.00 or 5% ($15.00 off)
– Host School/Venue = $230.00 or 5% ($15.00 off)
– Bring a friend = $230.00 or 5% ($15.00 off)
Group booking discounts are available under the following terms:
Application and approval must be obtained by the Kidzphyz Sports Director at least 1 week prior to a camp
– $220.00 for 4 or 5 participants being enrolled as one group for the full three day camp.
– $200.00 for 6 or more participants being enrolled as one group for the full thee day camp.

I’m eligible for a family discount and club discount, can I combine them?
No. You can only use one discount per booking, whichever is greater. For example, if you’re eligible for a group discount during the early booking period, or if you have a club discount code and are booking family members, the discounts cannot be added together.

Full day camp daily opening hours are 8.30am – 6:00pm (subject to the host venue availability), whilst the camp coaching services run from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Kidzphyz Sports support working parents by providing options for day care around business hours. Early drop off from 8.30am is provided free of charge, after care is available for a small fee (max $30 per night) until 6:00pm each night for Sports Camp participants only. We offer a number of programs for a variety of age groups. Most of our junior camps accept participants between the ages of 6 – 16, however many of our camps will accept those as young as 5. *See the camp specific web pages to find out just what age restrictions apply.
Yes, grouping can be arranged to suit age, ability and friends — just let us know the names of any friends or siblings that are attending when booking. We will make sure your child is having fun in a group with their friends. And don’t worry if there are no friends attending — new friends will be made at camp!
Comfortable sports clothing and footwear is appropriate.
This depends on the sport. When you book, a detailed confirmation letter with info on what to bring will be emailed to you as a PDF file within 24-48 hours of booking your camp.
Specific sports equipment such as bats, balls goals etc are provided, however, in contact sports or high-risk sports such as AFL, soccer, hockey and basketball, participants must provide their own mouthguard.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks are scheduled breaks for camp participants to rest and have refreshments.
Over the lunch break which is longer, participants can enjoy a recent G-rated movie (where facilities are available), have time to talk, socialise and debrief on activities – all supervised by camp staff.
Please note that we also offer a Subway lunch offer to families at our Kidzphyz Sports Camps. The information for Subway lunch orders will be emailed to families with the camp information packs. Payments for Subway can be made on the day of the order at the registration desk.
Kidzphyz Sports will provide fruit and biscuit snacks during morning tea and afternoon tea breaks. Please ensure children bring their own drink bottle each day marked with their name. Water is provided all day.
Children can either bring their own lunch or order their lunch through us, from one of our partners, Subway. A subway meal includes a 6-inch or foot long sandwich, cookie and drink, and is delivered to the participants by us, at lunchtime for them to enjoy. Subway lunch is provided at participant cost and can be paid for via Credit Card or Cash on the day of purchase. *Note that Kidzphyz Sports camps are a nut free environment in line with our Allergic Reactions and Management Policy.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch whilst coaches are in attendance, but there is no need to. All camps are fully supervised by qualified, registered WWCC coaches and camp staff. Please note that due to Child Safety regulations, parents must notify a Kidzphyz Sports staff member should they intend to stay and watch.
We have qualified First Aid officers at every Kidzphyz Sports camp and program.
In the unlikely event that we cancel your camp, we will refund only your camp payment and any registration fees. We waive any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agree to accept all liquidated damages and said registration fees.
Rescheduling from one week of camp to another, or even to a different location is normally not a problem and only takes a few minutes. Please call 0407 123 493 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and they will happily make any changes you need.
The only time we cannot help you reschedule is if the camp you desire to move to is at maximum occupancy.
In the event of being unable to attend:
- if you cancel two weeks prior to the start date of the camp you will receive a full refund.
- If you cancel within two weeks of the start date of the camp we will issue you a camp voucher for all camp fees paid, valid for one full calendar year. Your camp voucher is transferable to any family member and may be used in the sport that you are initially registered in. Note that this will incur a $25 per booking cancellation fee.
- If your child is sick or unable to attend one or more of the three day camp, then he/she will be entitled to a camp credit equal to the day/s missed. This is subject to approval of a Kidzphyz Sports Camp Director and additional cancellation fees of $25 per booking.
A credit of equivalent amount with be provided to attend a future program. Once the camp has commenced please note we are not able to offer refunds.
Yes, all of our staff have a current Working with Children Check. Many of our staff are also registered School Teachers and as such, come with a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or state based equivalent check which encompasses the required WWCC. All Kidzphyz staff are thoroughly screened prior to employment and undergo a mandatory Kidzphyz Sports induction program.
Yes, we can provide great coaching for all ability levels — just let us know before the camp if your child is an advanced player or a beginner so we can group them accordingly.
The camp will never be cancelled due to weather. Drop off and pick up times will remain unchanged. In times of extreme weather and inline with our Adverse Weather Policy, we will modify the program to make best and appropriate use of the venue’s facilities (undercover or indoor areas). This could involve talks from the specialists, modified intensity sessions and other games and activities.
We provide high quality sports coaching programs for participants in an open, welcoming and safe environment where we foster positive and supportive learning and skill development. Kidzphyz Sports is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people and they will be treated with respect and understanding at all times. We seek advice and guidance from young people, parents and colleagues so these standards are maintained. Everyone participating in a Kidzphyz Sports program (including staff, volunteers, students, children, parents and visitors) must keep to our strict code of conduct so that we can continually strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for all. In addition, all of our staff holding a current WWCC along with many of our team being Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registered teachers and who carry full teaching qualifications.
