WINTER SPORTS CAMPS 2016

WINTER SPORTS CAMPS 2016

AFL Footy Melbourne Victory

The winter school holiday period is often the hardest here in Melbourne…. due to the cold and wet weather, for many of our SCA/Kidzphyz camp participants this year, it was the best ever.

After a 3 great days of sports fun, Kidzphyz and Sports Camps Australia (SCA) were please to host another wonderful camp for its participants.  The July camp offered the kids three full days of either soccer or AFL Football at the Haileybury, Keysborough campus.  Head Coaches Dean and George led another program full of excitement and fun, providing the kids which an enriching and enjoyable sports camp experience.IMG_9313

We where delighted to have the opportunity to watch and meet some of the A-League stars from Melbourne Victory who also gave up some of there time to meet with the kids on our Kidzphyz / SCA camp.

Although the cold weather is upon us and the winter school holiday period is often the hardest here in Melbourne, for many of our SCA/Kidzphyz camp participants this year, it was the best ever.  The rain didn’t get in the way, as the kids took to the fields, although for some sessions we admit that we had to retreat to the indoor facilities.

My boys attended the 3 day AFL footy camp at Haileybury last week and they expressed that “it was awesome”.  Thanks Greg and the team for all your hard work. (Ron – Parent)

SPRING KIDZPHYZ CAMP WRAP

After a sensational two weeks of school holidays, our Kidzphyz programs were highly successful. Camp participants were able to rub shoulders with some of the AFL’s elite talent, with both our Yarra Valley Grammar clinic and Hailebury camp hosting Nathan Freeman and Jordy De Goey from the Collingwood Football Club. Both these outstanding AFL footballers visited over the three day clinics to share their knowledge, experience and football skills with our young sports camp participants. The Kidzphyz participants were also able to grab an autograph, photo and ask questions of the Collingwood boys whilst on the camp. We must thank both Nathan and Jordy for kindly giving up their time to be with us at Kidzphyz and we look forward to them joining us again at another Sports camp in the near future.

Hi Kidzphyz,

Participants within our Hockey camps across Victoria also enjoyed the expert advice of our superstar coaches, including National League player and former Victorian U21’s star Lachlan Steinfort. The outstanding synthetic pitches of both Yarra Valley Grammar and Haileybury were bustling with kids as they continued to run, chase and smash hockey balls all day long.

The soccer clinic was a huge hit out in Ringwood. With the first class grounds and outstanding weather, the kids were treated to outstanding coaching team headed up by Exercise Scientist and Master Coach Andrew Christie. In the gym, our Basketball campers were treated to another three days of great coaching and skill development. KIDZPHYZ SPORTS CAMPS STRIVES TO ENSURE THAT SESSIONS FOCUS ON THE BASICS OF THE GAME ALONG WITH SPORT SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES AND GAME STRATEGIES

Sports camps are a popular activity that can be found across Australia.  While they primarily exist to teach sporting skills and encourage children who aspire to become great players – or even future legends – they offer far more than just sporting experiences. Seasonal sports camps are an appealing fitness option to families with children who want to be physically active but prefer sports over other sedentary holiday activities. They offer a great opportunity to get your kids outdoors, exercising and away from their electronic devices. Kidzphyz Australia seeks to offer this plus more during their sports camps

Sports camps at Kidzphyz are the kind of holiday activity that challenges kids who appreciate the mental challenges in addition to the physical demands of sporting pursuits.  Most participants are looking for the opportunity to learn new skills, as well as improve their game.  All of Kidzphyz’s sports camps provide training and activities for young people of all ages, primarily from ages 5 through to 15, with kids being grouped by age as well as skill level.  The camps are well structured, with a full curriculum written by professional educators and sports coaches, along with the added social benefits of participants learning to interact with each other across varied age groups and between genders.

Most holiday sports camps teach fundamentals, technique and conditioning to students in a supportive atmosphere designed to bring out the best in each child.  Kidzphyz is no different in this area.  Kidzphyz strives to ensure that sessions focus on the basics of the game along with sport specific techniques and game strategies.  Furthermore, the exceptionally high standards of teaching and coaching practice within the camps is a direct reflection of the approach by Kidzphyz’s two company directors Jane Tobler and Greg Schneiders who are qualified, registered and highly experienced teachers.  The outstanding leadership provided by Greg and Jane of the camps provides an outstanding platform for each and every child to succeed in their chosen activity.

Highly qualified coaches also provide extensive instruction on safe and effective exercises, drills and skill development techniques. The days spent at a Kidzphyz sports camp offers a safe, structured venue for nurturing a love and passion of sports as children gain confidence.

Additional benefits of the Kidzphyz holiday sports camps include improved hand-eye coordination, sportsmanship and good sports etiquette. Besides engaging in regular physical activity, children learn discipline and concentration and achieve a sense of personal accomplishment. These types of skills go far beyond the field, court or oval, furthering a child’s social and academic life as well.

Kidzphyz continues to offer holiday programs and sports camps all year, while sports offered are seasonal in nature.  To find out more about the next Kidzphyz sports camp, check out the website at www.kidzphyz.com.au

Teachers will again extend their exceptional service this Summer holidays

If you want more for your children than just child care for your children, two teachers in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne are providing it, at Haileybury in Keysborough and now at Yarra Valley Grammar in Ringwood.

These teachers, who are KidzPhyz Australia, use their twenty years combined teaching experience to once again design a holiday programme, giving school aged children 3 full days of academically, theoretically and physiologically appropriate sports camp experiences.  Parents are thrilled and grateful!

“We could do anything on our holidays with our children but feel strongly that the three days our children have at Kidzphyz is the ultimate holiday experience we can give them”, claimed Kate, a parent of children who regularly attend the programme.

Every sports camp, parents are astounded by the experiences their children are receiving at Kidzphyz Australia and the results they are achieving, within this programme.  Jane Tobler, one of the teachers at Kidzphyz claims, “The quality and incomparable nature of what we do as teachers, must be constantly maintained in every camp for every child, or we are simply not interested in running them. We are not providing a child care service. We are supplying exceptional learning experiences which are physically, cognitively and emotionally appropriate for every child”.

Kidzphyz believes very strongly in the skills and talents of teachers and all they have to offer young people. Qualified teachers of physical education and sport are employed to run the programmes, which are gender balanced and designed to be inclusive, stimulating and rewarding to children. No matter what level children are achieving in their individual sports, from those reaching an elite level to those beginning and enjoying a particular sport, Kidzphyz coaches are employed because they themselves are experts in catering and utilizing techniques and skills to build and increase a child’s performance.

The Directors (Greg Schneiders and Jane Tobler) firmly believe that from the moment you visit their website to the very last goodbye at the sports camp these standards and service will be maintained. They have a website at www.kidzphyz.com.au that you can visit to obtain further information, see a gallery of photos on the sports camps, read about what other parents think of their services and a place to enrol your children.  They are also contactable by phone or email more than happy to chat to you about the programmes they run or your children’s sporting needs.

If you require more than just child care these holidays in and around Melbourne for your children and want your children to go back to school raving about what they did in the school holidays it would be worth looking to Kidzphyz Australia as an alternative.
